Writing Solutions -- brochures, cards and more

The City of Banning required a folio for use at trade shows. A a tri-fold
fold was created with dynamic photos of some of the city's assets. Insert cards
were used to define some of the functions of various city departments.

Patio Concepts, a manufacturer and distributor of high end patio furniture
needed a flyer to describe some of their items used as part of the model
furniture for a sub-division developer. This did the job nicely!
This
brochure was done for an orthopedist. He had created a dramatic new procedure
and instrumentation called the "Uni-Compartmental" knee. The challenge
was to have the pictures speak. We accomplished this with the use of x-ray
photos. One showed a normal knee, another showed a complete prosthesis, finally
the "Uni' knee. The effect of pictures and words was dramatic and
successful.
This
client always had a mission and causes she fought for. Had she used a
professional printing service in four color, her bills would have been enormous.
This might have been okay, but it would not have furnished her with the luxury
of changing bits and pieces as she saw fit. It was installed on her computer so
that she could print and distribute at will. Between the use of photos and
words, the message (s) hit home.

An attorney wanted to keep costs down until he determined
the level of his interest in creating a new business. We took the direct, simple
approach and used everyday and understandable English to explain his services.
Media Kit
For
years, Golf News Magazine struggled with a cumbersome, unwieldy media kit. It
was also expensive to mail. We devised the media kit. The cover? Absolutely no
problem! We simply featured some of their best magazine covers. All of the
information was inside. We cut out at least 20 unnecessary pages! Finally,
something a salesperson could use to... make sales!
A post card to previous clients worked. An extra large print allowed
keeping in touch with new/older customers with ongoing promotions. The fact that
there are 120,000 average daily trips in the Interstate (I-10) didn't hurt!
